A Major Limiting factor for these surgeries is the COST. Robotic surgeries are usually more expensive as compared to the conventional surgeries.
This is because of extra operational cost with the robotic arm. However, this is partially compensated by reduced hospital stay and lesser chances of complications. There is a continuous endeavor on reducing the cost of these surgeries.
